For much-loved creatures great and small
At the age of 11, I won a place at the Moseley School of Art in Birmingham, England. A specialist Art School founded by the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood.
Here I studied classical rendering techniques in all aspects of art.
Working in oil, acrylic, watercolour, oil pastel, pencil and intricate pen and ink, I now create work in a variety of styles, ranging from the traditional to the more contemporary abstract. As well as writing and illustrating my Crumble Cottage books and merchandise.
I have exhibited in France (where I lived and worked for 7 years), Cyprus, New York and extensively in the UK.
Animal portraiture has always been a favourite amongst my work and this year I was appointed the Official Artist for Blue Cross For Pets. It’s an honour to be working with them and I’m pleased to donate 10% of all my commission fees to the charity.
